SIBM Noida Successfully Conducts Excelsior 2026: A 9-Day Induction Program for MBA Batch 2026–28

I am delighted to share that I have joined Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Noida to pursue my MBA. This marks the beginning of an exciting journey of learning, growth, and transformation.

I had the privilege of participating in Excelsior 2026 (Deeksharambh), an enriching 9 day induction program that blended academic orientation, industry exposure, personal development, and leadership insights.

Day 1: The journey began with a welcome address by Dr. Vandana Ahuja ma'am, Professor & Director, SIBM Noida, followed by insightful sessions from industry leaders including Mr. Umang Monga sir (CEO, Harrison Group), Ms. Simin Askari ma'am (CHRO, DS Group), Ms. Shilpa Narang Jerath ma'am (CHRO, Oppo India), and Mr. Rajat Bhatia sir (CHRO, Fareportal). Their experiences highlighted the evolving expectations from future business leaders.

Day 2: Dr. Ritesh Dwivedi sir (Faculty, SIBM Noida) led engaging ice-breaking activities and shared insights on internships and global immersion opportunities. Dr. Pooja Sehgal Tabeck ma'am (Deputy Director, SIBM Noida) provided a detailed overview of the MBA curriculum, while Mr. Amitabh Verma sir (Founder, AMP Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd.) conducted a thought-provoking workshop on personal branding.

Day 3: The day focused on developing business acumen through a Financial Literacy Workshop by Mr. Kaushik Mehrotra sir, a Sales Skills Workshop by Mr. Ritesh Chaddha sir, and a Case-Based Learning Workshop by Dr. Govind Nath Srivastava sir (Faculty, SIBM Noida), emphasizing practical problem-solving and decision-making.

Day 4: Dr. Shubhangini Rathore ma'am conducted an intensive workshop on building essential competencies for corporate success, covering professional skills, workplace effectiveness, and leadership readiness.

Day 5: Mr. Deepak Gupta sir (Admin Officer, SIBM Noida) familiarized us with institutional policies and regulations, while Dr. Ritesh Dwivedi sir introduced the vibrant ecosystem of student councils and clubs. The day concluded with valuable interactions with senior students, offering practical insights into campus life.

Day 6: An industry visit to Yakult Danone, Sonipat provided firsthand exposure to manufacturing operations, quality management practices, and supply chain processes, bridging classroom concepts with real-world business applications.

Day 7: An enriching Art of Living Workshop focused on mindfulness, emotional well-being, and self-management.

Day 8: The Art of Living sessions continued to emphasize holistic development and stress management.

Day 9: The induction concluded with another insightful Art of Living session, followed by Mr. Amit Awasthi sir's workshop on "MBA in the World of Al," which explored how artificial intelligence is reshaping industries and redefining managerial roles.
